    The farm produces high quality biological products (AIAB) and extends over an area of 60 acres, including a vinyard, olive trees, fields, wheat, stables and a wild and beautiful forest for hiking.
   

     A flock of hundred sheep, goats, pigs of the old and rare breed 'cinta senese', chicken, ducks, peacocks, dogs, cats, a pony and three donkeys add to the rare charms of this farm. An original wood oven provides fresh bread and every Saturday freshly made pizzas can be enjoyed.
 

   The pasta is produced in the form of spaghetti, linguine, rigatoni, fusilli and so on from the farm's own cereals in a small but original pasta mill in the Abruzzo mountains and is for sale - as many other products of the farm such as olive oil and cheese - directly on location.
  

    On short notice school classes and guided hiking groups are welcome to join everyday life on the farm where they will be served all the delicious home made biological products and foodstuffs.   

      Recently  Il Casale has rigorously added always to his own activities the production and the sale of cheese products  pecorino - caprino - ricotta of biological agriculture

How to reach the Camping Il Casale:

From Pienza:
Drive towards Montepulciano. Where there is a left turn to Palazzo Massaini turn right and follow the small strada bianca for a kilometer in the direction of Monticchiello.

From Montepulciano:
Drive towards Pienza for several kilometres and turn left at the signpost Il Borghetto. Pass il Borghetto and turn left again at the next small crossing.
